Job Summary:
I'm seeking a creative and highly skilled Video Editor to join my team and bring my personal vlog to life across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling, possess a strong understanding of social media trends, and have a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging and visually appealing videos that resonate with my audience.
Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality videos for various platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Ensure consistent visual style and branding across all platforms.
- Optimize videos for different aspect ratios and platform requirements.
- Organize and manage video files and assets efficiently.
- Maintain a consistent workflow and meet deadlines.
- Create engaging short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) tailored to each platform's audience.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices.
- Propose creative input and suggestions for video content.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video editing for social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and aspect ratios.
- Excellent audio editing skills.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of social media trends and best practices.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant video editing work.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with color grading and correction.
- Knowledge of graphic design and motion graphics.
- Experience with creating thumbnails and other visual assets.
- Experience with creating meme based content.
